Product Overview

The TF85182 is an 80-channel universal switch that fits into a standard PXIe bus. TF85182 works mainly in testing situations where a great number of signal channels need to be switched. TF85182 finds its typical applications in multi-channel testing of aerospace and national defense electronic systems; the reliability verification of automotive electronic ECUs and wiring harnesses; industrial power module and circuit board isolation testing, and laboratory automated test platform signal routing. When conducting experiments, the operators program the equipment in advance based on the testing plan. Then the connection lines in the test system do not need to be changed. All channel switching of the TF85182 can be controlled automatically, whereby the testing efficiency is significantly increased.

The TF85182 universal switch module consists of 80 single-pole single-throw relays. TF85182 is equipped with electromagnetic relays, which ensure that medium-power signals will be handled with excellent isolation between channels and high sensitivity. The maximum switching voltage and current of the TF85182 module are 300VDC/250VAC and 2A, respectively. Upstream software can be used for the control of the switch on or off status of any channel through auto-control of the TF85182 switch. Channel-on condition of TF85182 enables a stable and reliable two-way signal transmission system. The channel bandwidth of TF85182 can reach up to 60MHz. 

The isolation switch in the channel-off condition causes the two channels to be separated physically, thus preventing interference and ensuring the channel's stability and reliability. Besides, the MT5182 is also endowed with the counting function to keep track of the number of times the relays are used.

TF85182's total height is 3U, and TF85182's width is 4HP. All the channels TN TF85182 are extended to the front panel 160Pin connector, where TF85182's characteristic impedance is 50Ω. TF85182 combines the traits of high channel density and compact structure.
